Transport: 5 more buses acquired
The buses will ply from Secretariat to Township; from Secretariat to Kasur

Additional Chief Secretary Shamail Ahmad Khwaja on Friday inaugurated the inclusion of five buses for Civil Secretariat employees. The buses have been bought for Rs41.95 million to expand pick- and- drop facility for more than 1,500 Civil Secretariat employees. S&GAD Transport Additional Secretary Malik Ashiq Hussain Olakh said the Civil Secretariat Employees’ Association had demanded the new buses. He said the route for the buses had been finalised. The buses will ply from Secretariat to Township; from Secretariat to Kasur; from Secretariat to Manga Mandi; from Secretariat to Sheikhupura; and from Secretariat to Raiwind. Welfare Additional Secretary Mudasar Riaz Malik, Motor Transport Officer Ijaz Karim and Punjab Secretariat Employees’ Association office-bearers Shahid Mahmood and Abdul Karim Awan were also present on the occasion.
