In custody: TTP commander arrested

HANGU: The police have arrested a Taliban commander and two of his associates after an exchange of fire in Saddar, Hangu on Wednesday. This was said by DPO Shah Nazar during a news conference at his office.

“During routine checking in Saddar, the police signaled a vehicle to stop. However, the suspected TTP commander, Asif, and his associates opened fire at the duty officers,” he said.

However, the police managed to capture them around two kilometres from the check post, the DPO added.
