Pakistani teenagers Anayatullah and Ghulam Ghaus will compete at the Cadet Asia Wrestling Championship starting on July 7 in Taichung, Chinese Taipei.
According to Pakistan Wrestling Federation (PWF) Secretary Muhammad Arshad Sattar, Anayat is from Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and Ghulam from Punjab. The athletes were chosen after satisfactory performances in national cadet championships.
Sattar said he is expecting the young wrestlers to bring back medals. “The two athletes are well prepared for the event,” Sattar told The Express Tribune. “We’re hoping that they will win top honours in Taipei.”
