Robbery gone wrong: Girl dies trying to save brother

A teenage girl sacrificed her life on Sunday night while attempting to save her brother from armed robbers who were trying to snatch his motorcycle at gunpoint in Allahabad Muhalla, Larkana. Abdul Samee Kakepoto, a resident of Allahabad Muhalla, returned home on his motorcycle at night. As soon as his younger sister, 15-year-old Mansha Kanwal opened the door to their home, three armed men on a motorcycle appeared and tried to snatch the motorcycle. Kanwal put up resistance to the robbers, who opened fire, killing her and injuring her brother. The robbers managed to flee the scene. Allahabad Muhalla police shifted the body and the injured to Chandka Medical College Hospital, where Kanwal’s body was handed over to the family after the postmortem. A case has been registered but no arrest has been made yet.
