CEC vows action against fake-degree holders
KARACHI:
The fate of Jamshed Dasti and other politicians is hanging in the balance as Election commission vows legal action against fake-degree holders.
Acting Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Justice Javed Iqbal said today that action will taken against fake degree-holders. He said that fake degree-holders will not be allowed to contest in the polls, and that the submission of incorrect information amounts to corruption.
The acting CEC also told election tribunals to dispose off fake degree cases by 30th of this month.
