Top guns Asjad Iqbal, Mohammad Sajjad, Imran Shahzad and Sohail Shahzad continued their unbeaten run after notching up wins on the second day of the 36th National Snooker Championship. Former world amateur champion Mohammad Yousaf defeated Qasim Kamani 4-1 after a disappointing loss the previous day.
Khurrum Agha lost his second match in a row to fall out of contention for a place in the knockout rounds.
While Iqbal beat Raja Rashid 4-2, Sajjad outplayed Hameedullah 4-0 including breaks of 57 and 63.
Imran displayed his snooker prowess in defeating Farhan Khan 4-0 including two half-century breaks while Sohail outclassed Shah Khan 4-1.
In other matches, Naveen Perwani beat Abdul Sattar and Mohammad Asif won his second successive game after toppling Mohammad Shahid.
