An additional district and sessions judge on Friday sought comments from the Batapur SHO on a petition filed by a woman seeking a case against five people for promising her a job and then raping her. Sakina* submitted that one of her relatives had taken her to a factory for a job interview. She said when she reached there, four people had forced her at gunpoint to dance. She said they had later raped her. She said they had threatened to kill her if she lodged a complaint in this regard. She requested the court to order the SHO to register an FIR against them and her relative.
