Helping hand: BISP poverty survey to begin

HYDERABAD: Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) is all set to initiate the phase of new poverty survey next month, after which the survey will be conducted across the country in 2017. The survey will ensure enlistment of every deserving woman in BISP for provision of financial assistance, said BISP Sindh regional director General Naeem Anwar. He was presiding over a meeting with all the divisional directors of BISP on Thursday. The new poverty survey will employ the latest technology, he said.
