Additional charge: New universities secretary appointed

KARACHI: Ahmed Bakhsh Narejo was given on Thursday the additional charge of secretary of universities and boards. A notification has been issued in this regard by Sindh chief secretary Siddique Memon, which reads that Narejo, an officer of the Pakistan Administrative Service (BS-20) who is the secretary of the health department, will also hold the additional charge of the post of secretary of universities and boards until further orders from the chief secretary. Narejo has replaced Dr Iqbal Durrani, who was transferred on Tuesday with immediate effect and was directed to report to the services, general administration and coordination department.
