The hit duo of superstar Shah Rukh Khan and director Aditya Chopra has delivered blockbusters like Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge in the past and now the two are all set to collaborate on a new venture.

In a recent interview, SRK revealed that it's a "very big project," and that he begins working on it in the later part of 2017. He also said that Aditya Chopra has asked for five months of his time to complete the next big film.

Filmfare, in its latest report, has now confirmed that the film will in fact be a period drama and King Khan will be seen as a warrior.

"He told me that the shooting will be wrapped up in three months, but I will have to work with him on characters for two months prior to shooting for the film. I have no idea what he is making, but he has just asked me to keep my dates free next year. He has been planning one film with me after Befikre," Shah Rukh had earlier said in an interview.

Adi and Shah Rukh last collaborated for Rab Ne Bana Di Jori which came out  in 2008.

Interestingly, Shah Rukh has already done a period drama in which he played a warrior -- Emperor Ashoka. We wonder how this film will be different.
