A man was killed and another injured during exchange of fire between two groups over a feud in Zaida area of Swabi. A police official told the media the case was registered by Nadeem, who claimed Tariq, Altaf, Junaid and Naeem Jan opened fire on him and his father Goharur Rehman, leaving the latter dead. However, Tariq from the opposite group registered a case against Zohaib, Nadeem’s brother, claiming him along with his father opened fire on them and then they opened fire on them in retaliation. The series of firing took place after a heated argument. Cases were registered and investigation was started. On the other hand, a woman was electrocuted and died in her house in Mangal Chai Gadoon, Swabi on early Monday morning. Wife of Sher Nawaz was inside the house when she caught the current from a wire. However, she was rushed to hospital where she breathed her last.
