Education: ‘Govt will take care of private schools’
The governor said private schools had an important role in educating the society

Governor Rafique Rajwana on Saturday said education played a vital role in progress and prosperity of any society. He said the government was aware of the problems faced by private schools and was trying its best to resolve them. The governor was talking to a delegation of Punjab Federation of Registered Schools led by Shiekh Akram and Farid Khan Bangish. The governor said private schools had an important role in educating the society and preparing a new generation. “We will have to focus on education to bring it at par with developed nations,” the governor said. He listened to the issues raised by private school owners and assured the delegation that he would take steps to resolve them.
