Illegal appointments: NAB arrests former edu director

KARACHI: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) arrested on Friday a former education director, Shamsuddin Dal, in a case against 138 illegal appointments in District Jamshoro education department. During interrogations, Dal confessed his involvement and accepted receiving kickbacks and commissions for his discretions, said a NAB statement issued on Friday. He has also disclosed the involvement of a ring of officers and other high-ranking officials in making illegal appointments after charging bribes or under influence in several districts of Sindh.
