Police said Junaid Afzal, the victim, and Suleman, the suspect, both lived in a room in G-11 Markaz.
On May 30, Suleman returned from duty, while Junaid was asleep. Suddenly, Suleman’s gun went off hitting Junaid in the thigh. He was taken to a hospital where he died of excessive bleeding on Saturday. Police said Junaid received 14 bottles of blood but could not survive.
Junaid’s father Muhammad Afzal, who is also a security guard, lodged a complaint that Suleman killed his son at the behest of the company owners.
The suspect said that his gun went off “accidentally”.
Police have arrested the suspect.
