Djokovic is only the third man after Don Budge and Rod Laver to hold the four majors at the same time, and the eighth man to triumph at Wimbledon and the French, US and Australian Opens.

Murray played a perfect opening set, finding the right balance between defence and attack, but he was overwhelmed once Djokovic loosened up to avoid becoming the first man to lose his first four Roland Garros finals.
The Serb shook off late jitters to wrap things up on his third match point when Murray netted a backhand.
