Ajk : One killed, 12 injured on road

The victims were rushed to a basic health unit in Jahamber for treatment

MUZAFFARABAD:  

At least one person was killed and 12 others were injured on Saturday when a passenger van fell into a ravine near the Nitpatian stream in Neelum Valley in Azad Jammu and Kashmir. According to the police, the jeep (AJK-7624) was going from Kutton Valley to Pattian village on a rundown link road when the accident occurred. The deceased was identified as Asim Din, and the injured as M Sadiq, Qalam Din, Abdul Qayyum, Lal Hussain, Basharat, Banaras, Attique, Nazir, Raham Din, Yaqoob, Irshad, and driver Sadiq.The victims were rushed to a basic health unit in Jahamber for treatment. Three seriously injured persons were later shifted to Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayad Al-Nahyan Hospital in Muzaffarabad.
