It's the week of break ups!

Just a day after Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris called it quits, 'Zigi' fans around the world have been left heartbroken.

Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid have reportedly parted ways after seven months of dating.

While the reason behind their split remains unconfirmed, a close source revealed that the couple was going through a rough patch.

"During her birthday they were fighting," an insider told E! News, adding they have "broken up and got back together a few times."

While another source confirms that there is a possibility of the two getting back together in the near future.

"Zayn and Gigi did break up, but they can likely get back together tomorrow. It's all very unclear what's going on between them now. They been having some issues lately that involved communication and getting along," the source told E! News.

Gigi, 21, and Zayn, 23, sparked dating rumours when they stepped out together at an American Music Awards after party.

The couple made their red carpet debut at the Met Gala this year and also graced the cover of Vogue's May issue.
