Is Johnny Depp CII's new ambassador? Twitter seems to think so

Megastar Johnny Depp has been accused of physically assaulting his wife Amber Heard, who submitted a photo of her bruised face to a court in the United States, while filing for divorce from the actor.

The news came just days after Pakistan's Council of Islamic Ideology proposed a bill permitting 'light beating' of wives.



Twitter didn't let the coincidence slip by unnoticed, making for some dark comedy.
