Arijit Singh and Salman Khan's tiff is the talk of the town.

It all started when the Tum Hi Ho hit-maker posted a desperate apology on Facebook requesting the megastar not to remove his song from Sultan. It was unclear though what Arijit had done to make Salman so angry.

Arijit Singh publicly apologises to Salman Khan. But why?

It has now come to front that the reason behind the controversy dates back to 2014 when Arijit received an award at an event hosted by Salman. Apparently Arijit had dozed off and took his time to get to the stage to accept his trophy.

To top it all off, he told Salman it was him who'd put him to sleep -- presumably because of his bad hosting. To which Salman replied, "It is because of songs like 'Tum hi ho' from Ashiqui 2.
