Caught red-handed : Customs seizes 198 mobile phones

KARACHI: Around 198 mobile phones were seized on Monday by Pakistan Customs from a passenger travelling from Dubai. The suspect, Muhammad Hanif, reached Karachi on flight EK-608 and had strapped 198 mobile phones in his luggage bag to hide them, informed Customs media officer Syed Muhammad Irfan Ali. The seized cell phones are worth Rs2 million, he added. The accused was taken into physical remand after producing him before a court while further investigation was underway.
