Up in arms: Protesters slam police inaction )

BAHALWALPUR: Scores of residents of Chak 42/DB held a protest against Yazman Saddar police on Sunday demanding that they arrest suspects accused of murdering a woman and injuring another. Aslam, one of the protesters, said on May 7, Javed, Irfan, Yaseen and three unidentified men barged into their house and shot at his sisters. Aslam said the police had refused to arrest four of the suspects. “They are threatening to kill us if we do not withdraw our complaint.”
