Police have declared an emergency high alert on the eve of Shab-i-Baraat on Sunday. A police spokesperson said on Sunday that five SPs, 13 DSPs, 18 inspectors and 678 cops would be deputed to perform security duty. He said eight teams of the Elite Force would patrol the streets throughout the night. He said the district had been divided into 45 sectors. He said 279 mosques and 30 graveyards had been declared sensitive on Shab-i-Baraat.
