The protesters had gathered at Al Saeed Chowk to protest against LESCO for not replacing broken transformer. They staged a sit-in on the main road. The traffic remained suspended for two hours due to the protest.
City Traffic Officer Tayyab Hafeez Cheema visited the spot. Four DSPs, six inspectors and 33 wardens were deployed in the area to restore the traffic.
