"PML-Q will make South Punjab a new province"

Chaudhary Pervez Elahi has said that PML -Q will make South Punjab a separate province by confronting all the conspiracies and difficulties.

Addressing the 'Make South Punjab Province' rally on Wednesday, he reiterated that PML-Q will continue its efforts for the people of South Punjab to award new provincial status for South Punjab adding that PML-Q during its tenure had accomplished developmental projects of worth Rs117 billion in the region, while the incumbent Punjab government has announced only Rs15 billion.

He also emphasized that the movement that PML-Q has initiated will meet its desired results to award new provincial status for South Punjab adding that the leadership of PML-N has visited London more times than South Punjab.

The former chief minister further pointed out that PML-N has betrayed the nation by supporting the name 'Khyber-Pakhtoonkhwa' adding that PML-Q will not only make South Punjab a separate province but would also struggle to award separate provincial status for Hazara.
