Heinous crime: Woman murdered by husband

A woman was murdered in Badami Bagh on Sunday. Police said that Chaman Bibi, 26, used to have frequent arguments with her in-laws. “On Sunday, she exchanged harsh words with her in-laws. Her husband, Azhar, and brother in-law, Mazhar, started beating her up. They later slit her throat with a knife,” police said. Police have registered a case on the complaint of Chaman Bibi’s brother, Arshad. Police said they had arrested Azhar. “We are looking for Mazhar,” police said.
