International Audit Group: Pakistan seeks membership
Pakistan has formally requested to become a member of the organisation
ISLAMABAD:
Auditor General of Pakistan Rana Assad Amin has praised the Accountability State Authority of Egypt for considering Pakistan’s request for membership of the International Organisation of Supreme Audit Institution (INTOSAI). According to a statement, INTOSAI is a working group on the fight against corruption and money laundering and Pakistan has formally requested to become a member of the organisation. Egypt’s Accountability State Authority as chair of the working group has informed authorities that Pakistan would be invited to the next working group meeting where the country’s membership request would be presented.
