Two held Vehicle stolen from PTI rally recovered

ISLAMABAD:  

Special Investigation Unit has apprehended two car thieves and recovered a vehicle, which was stolen from the PTI rally parking in F-9 last month.

According to details, the SP investigation had constituted a team consisting ASI Sarfraz, Constable Qamar, Ashraf and Sameeullah for arrest of car thieves. They worked on the case and through source information successfully apprehended the car thieves identified as Shahid Zaman and Hashim. The car  IDK 5165. Corolla 1999 was recovered from them.

Shahid Zaman has been a notorious car lifter and was previously challaned in more than 10 cases of car theft from Margalla, Ramna and Golra police stations.

Further Investigation is underway.
