Gilani, Kiyani discuss security situation

Reiterating his strong stance that Pakistan Army is one of the superlative country in the world, Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani on Tuesday underlined that undoubtedly government has full confidence on it.


According to the sources, Prime Minister expressed these views while talking to the Chief of the Army Staff General Ashfaq Pervez Kiyani at the Prime Minister House here on Tuesday.


Issues like war against terrorism, national security matters, overall security situation and others came under discussion in depth.


The leaders talked about various issues pertaining to national interest. General Kayani also briefed the prime minister about the ongoing security situation besides the Azm-e-Nau War Games.


Prime Minister congratulated the Pakistan Army and jawans for successful military exercises.


Sources say that PM highly acclaimed the services and sacrifices of Pakistan Army terming it impregnable urging its laurels are spread across the world.


He further added that Pakistan Army has the capability to defend its homeland tooth and nail urging we are proud to have such a force that is hard to reckon,  sources added.
