Lack of security: FIRs filed against heads of two schools

An FIR was registered against heads of
two schools in the city for failing to maintain security arrangements. The cases were filed by Gulbahar police on Wednesday. The FIR, a copy of which is available with The Express Tribune, stated the cases were filed against the heads of the schools Abdul Qudoos and Zafar Iqbal Chamkani. An official of the education department, requesting anonymity, said the district education officer received threatening letters three days ago, but the government remained silent on the issue. However, while talking to The Express Tribune, District Education Officer Ulfat Begum denied any knowledge of the threat.
