Under threat: Jalozai resident demands protection

PESHAWAR: A resident of Jalozai has demanded protection against Pabbi police and PTI district member from Nowshera for allegedly threatening him. Speaking at a news conference at Peshawar Press Club on Wednesday, Fida Hussain told the media he purchased 2.5 kanals of land in Jalozai a few months back. “PTI district member Khalid Malik was repeatedly threatening me,” he said. “He wanted to buy the land.” Hussain said he was pressurised by Malik as well as the police. “The police implicated me in a false case and I spent 18 days behind bars,” he said. “Malik also threatened me while I was in prison. He also threatened my family.”
