Army chief General Reheel Sharif witnessed the exercise of a corps near Jhelum on Thursday.
The exercise is being conducted in the an overall framework of effectively repulsing enemy offensive through integrated application of artillery, air and combat aviation firepower, an ISPR news release stated.
COAS witnesses army manoeuvre exercise near Jhelum
Gen Raheel expressed satisfaction over the high standard of operational preparedness and appreciated the professional skills displayed by the participating troops.
Earlier on arrival, the COAS was received by Commander 30 Corps Lt-Gen Ikramul Haq and GOC 8 Division Maj-Gen Sarfraz Sattar.
