The Raees and Sultan clash seems to have finally reached a conclusion.
Turns out, we will have to wait a little longer to see Mahira Khan make her Bollywood debut as Raees may hit the screens sometime next year.
According to Times of India, SRK does not want his movie to clash with Salman Khan's Sultan on Eid this year, but he still wants the film to release on a festival or public holiday, for bigger collections at the box office.
Times of India reports that SRK may be planning to release Raees on January 26, the same day as Hrithik Roshan's home production Kaabil.
Mahira Khan sure knows how to make SRK jealous
The shoot for Raees has been wrapped up.
SRK says he will “miss the laughs, intensity and the kohl.” He even praised his unit from the film.
“Finished Raees. Maybe a bit of patchwork left if any. Will miss the laughs…the intensity and the kohl. Thanks to the sweetest unit ever. Love you,” he tweeted on Wednesday morning.

'Sultan' teaser shows Salman Khan in top form
Sultan, starring Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma, and produced by Aditya Chopra, has released it's teaser.
Now that the clash has been put to rest, we're counting down the months to Mahira Khan's Bollywood debut!
