LAHORE:

“Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan should respond to public queries regarding his double standards on various national issues,” Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) media coordinator Muhammad Mehdi said on Sunday.

In a press statement, he asked Khan to explain to the public why he had dismissed two election commissions formed to hold intra-party elections. “Why did he derail intra-party elections?” Mehdi called upon the PTI leader to also explain why he had designated a person, who was a bank defaulter, as an information secretary. “Who stopped him from launching an investigation into the corruption scandal involving Khyber Pakthtunkhawa (KP) Chief Minister Pervaiz Khattak, on the demand of PTI former minister Zia Afridi? People want to know why the money, donated for Shaukat Khanam Memorial Hospital, was invested through nameless companies?”
