Murder: Security guard shot dead

People’s Colony SHO said they had registered a case against unidentified assailants under Section 302 of the PPC

FAISALABAD:
Some unidentified men shot dead a security guard in a People’s Colony police precinct on Sunday. A police spokesperson said Tariq Ali, 48, had freed up from his work as a security guard and was on his way home in Elahi Abad when he was stopped by some men near Faisal Hospital. They shot him and drove off on motorcycles. Ali died on the way to the hospital. People’s Colony SHO said they had registered a case against unidentified assailants under Section 302 of the Pakistan Penal Code (murder). Ali’s son Raza had filed the complaint.
