Moonlighting: Nine arrested in DI Khan

The crackdown was conducted on the directives of DI Khan district police station

DI KHAN: At least nine women – who were allegedly working as sex workers – were found moonlighting as beggars. This was confirmed by an official of Cantt police station in DI Khan. The Cantt SHO and his team of police personnel conducted raids and arrested these suspects around the district courts. Those taken into custody were gypsies living in cottages near DI Khan City. Cases were registered against them at the police station. The crackdown was conducted on the directives of DI Khan district police station as people had complained about the illicit activities of beggars.
