As a biopic based on an Indian prisoner Sarabjit Singh, who died in Pakistan, is set to release, the question remains whether or not it will face backlash from the country.
Whatever the case may be, Sarbjit director Omung Kumar seems to be fearless.

Upholding the film does not show Pakistan in a bad light, Kumar said, “There is nothing as such in the film that will create backlash. We want to release the film worldwide. The idea is to make Indians and Pakistanis and others realise what happens when an incident like this happens."
“We are not pin-pointing anyone, there is fault in us also... There is some fault in the system as well,” he added.

The upcoming film starring Randeep Hooda and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in lead roles, revolves around the struggles of Sarabjit Singh and his family. It also highlights the efforts of his sister, Dalbir Kaur, to seek justice.
