Busted: FIA arrest human trafficker

LAHORE: A team of the Federal Investigation Agency Gujranwala conducted a raid and managed to arrest an alleged human trafficker on Sunday. An FIA spokesperson told journalists on Sunday that Ahsan Butt, a resident of Jam Key Cheema, Daska, was accused of sending people to Turkey through a land route. He said the FIA had registered a case against Butt under the Immigration Ordinance 1979. Separately, the FIA Gujranwala arrested Jawad Gujjar, a proclaimed offender. The spokesperson said that Gujjar was a resident of Ladhee Wala Virkaan, Mureedkay, and had been nominated in several cases.
