Team-Building: Tariq Yasin assumes charge as IGP

It would help to ensure peace by timely sharing any suspicious activity in particular area

ISLAMABAD: Inspector General of Police Islamabad Tariq Masood Yasin assuming his charge said that corruption and bribe practices would not be tolerated at all and police officials would have to work like a team. In his first address to the police personnel, the IGP stressed on enhancing coordination among all wings of Islamabad police and timely sharing of information to counter any challenge. He said that Islamabad police team would have to work like an organised force so that protection to the lives and property of citizens may be ensured. The IGP also focused to have effective check and balance system within police department and resolving the problems of policemen by their officials for better output. The contacts with notables in any particular locality should be improved to inculcate friendly policing culture. It would help to ensure peace by timely sharing any suspicious activity in particular area, he added.
