House Raid: Man seeks FIR against SHO
The petitioner said that the SHO had also demanded an additional Rs 80,000 to release his son

An additional district and sessions judge on Wednesday sought comments from the Shahdra Town SHO on a petition filed by a man seeking the registration of a case against him for allegedly taking away cash from his house. Petitioner Muhammad Jan said that the SHO had raided his home along with a police team. “They arrested my son. They also took away Rs100,000 from a safe. When I demanded that the money be returned, the SHO threatened to murder my son in a fake encounter,” Jan said. He said that the SHO had also demanded an additional Rs80,000 to release his son. He requested the court to direct police to register a case against the SHO.
