KARACHI:
An inquiry committee formed to probe the accidental blast inside an anti-terrorism courtroom (ATC) has completed its findings, Sindh IG AD Khawaja told the media on Wednesday. The Supreme Court had ordered an inquiry into the April 11 incident in which a policeman and court staffer were injured. The blast occurred when a detonator presented as evidence exploded accidentally, said the IG. The committee, comprising Khawaja and ATCs incharge judge Bashir Ahmed Khoso, recorded the cop’s statement and examined comments of all ATC judges. It has compiled a report on suggestions regarding storage and production of explosives as case property.
