Red carpet roundup: Premiere of ‘Game Of Thrones’

There was, unquestionably, no shame in their style game

The cast of the iconic show huddled together at the TCL Chinese Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard, to showcase their flare for fashion. But it was the leading ladies who surely stole the show. Emilia Clarke and Lena Headey emitted class and poise on the red carpet. There was, unquestionably, no shame in their style game.

Emilia Clarke

The ultimate television sensation, who had audiences awestruck through her depiction of Khaleesi, effortlessly turned heads as she moseyed down the red carpet in her memorably sultry strapless number. The 29-year-old swanked a well-fitted, low-cut velvet bustier that accentuated her curves and a floral-patterned skirt that was split all the way to the thigh. She polished up her eye-catching ensemble with a trendy pair of towering strapped Christian Louboutin stilettos.

Lena Headey

Accustomed to donning antiquated gowns for her role as Cersei Lannister in the HBO series, Lena opted for garb that was slightly less ‘medieval’ but maybe not the best choice for a red carpet: a modish maxi dress by Carolina Herrera. The print of the dress may not be swoon worthy but we loved its floaty silhouette as it materialised perfectly well for the spring season. With ruffled capped sleeves and a frill at the deep-V neckline, Lena bragged a flirty and feminine sense of fashion.
