Case solved: Murder suspect arrested in Shergarh

SHERGARH:


A murder case was solved and the accused was apprehended in Lund Khwar area of Shergarh, Mardan.


While addressing a news conference on Saturday, Takht Bhai DSP Saleem Riaz said 25-year-old Noman Bacha went missing on April 4. The DSP added Noman’s body was later found in a field in Shergarh and was handed over to his family.


A case was registered against the incident.


Subsequently, Lund Khwar SHO Ahmed Ali along with investigation incharge Bakht Khan informed the police stations about the case and managed to arrest the accused, Fanoos, 19, who confessed to killing Noman. Fanoos said he killed Noman with an axe because the latter refused to become friends with him.


A similar case surfaced in Peshawar. On Friday, Hayatabad police arrested a man in connection with the murder of 13-year-old Hashmat Ali. Hashmat
was a student of class six who was found slaughtered in Bagh-e-Naran on February 23.
