US electronics store sets ‘largest human mattress dominoes’ record

It took around 13 minutes for 1,200 participants to make soft landing for successful attempt

An appliance and electronic company in US on Friday broke the world record for the largest human mattress dominoes.

According to Guinness World Records, it took around 13 minutes for 1,200 participants to make a soft landing for the successful attempt which was carried out as part of the Aaron’s Inc. annual managers meeting.

In order to break the world record, the organisers set 34 rows of mattresses in two exhibit halls of 70,000 square feet area at Gaylord National Resort and Conference Center.

Mattresses used in the record making would be donated to charitable groups in the Washington, DC.

Historically speaking, the record was first achieved by 80 people at the Channel Nine studios in Sydney in 2009. After a while, in 2010 it was again broken by 256 participants in China.
