For a cause: LRBT hosts carnival to raise awareness
Promising it to be a yearly activity, LRBT management thanked everyone’s participation
KARACHI:
Layton Rahmatulla Benevolent Trust (LRBT) hosted a carnival in partnership with Express Publications on March 23. The theme of the event was ‘Pakistan’s National Day’. The carnival was a complete package for men, women and children with fun, food, exhibitions and music. Thousands of visitors attended the event. Many leading multinationals conglomerates, banks and home based entrepreneurs participated in the event and showed their support for LRBT and its fight against blindness and eye-problems. A music concert was also held which included performances of students from different schools of Defence Housing Authority and CAS School, Momin Durrani, Sara Haider and Mirage. The highlight of the carnival was Durrani and Haider’s performance which kept the guest glued even after event’s closing time. Promising it to be a yearly activity, LRBT management thanked everyone’s participation and asked for the people to come forth in helping their cause.
