Car Crash: Five killed en route to PPP rally

The incident occurred on the National Highway near Qazi Ahmed town

HYDERABAD: Five persons, including a recently elected union council (UC) chairperson, from Mirpur Sakro, Thatta died in a road accident in Nawabshah district on Monday. The incident occurred on the National Highway near Qazi Ahmed town. The deceased, supporters of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP ) were en route to Larkana to attend the rally commemorating PPP founder Zulfikar Ali Bhutto’s death anniversary when their car fell in a water canal, drowning all the passengers. The deceased include brothers Haji Abu Bakar Soomro and Haji Meeru Soomro and Meeru’s son, UC chairperson Haji Latif Soomro, as well as Abdul Rehman Tunio and driver Sher Muhammad.
