Gilgit-baltistan: Govt to develop livestock, fisheries
The projects included the establishment of 500 nurseries, 100 seeds forms, 500 model maize crop fields
ISLAMABAD:
The government is determined to develop the agriculture, livestock and fisheries sectors and a number of development projects are being executed in Gilgit-Baltistan, said G-B Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Janbaz Khan. The projects included the establishment of 500 nurseries, 100 seeds forms, 500 model maize crop fields and repairing of 15 irrigation water channels. “Work on dairy and poultry development and establishment of model fish-farms projects is already in progress,” added the minister.
