Fight against terrorists: Progress on NAP discussed
The role and success of the Pakistan Army in operation Zarb-e-Azb was praised during the meeting
MUZAFFARABAD:
A high-level meeting here on Tuesday discussed implementation and progress on the National Action Plan (Nap) and the overall law and order situation in the Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK). The meeting was presided over by the AJK Prime Minister, Chaudhry Abdul Majeed. He said that after the Lahore blast, the whole nation stood united against the terrorists. “The AJK police, other government departments and security agencies are on the same page [that is] to ensure implementation of the Nap in the region,” the prime minister said. The role and success of the Pakistan Army in operation Zarb-e-Azb was praised during the meeting. The AJK cabinet members, chief secretary, inspector general of police (IGP) and top civil officials also attended the meeting.
