Kareena Kapoor Khan would love to be in front of the camera even when she is 80 — just like late veteran actor Zohra Sehgal. Stating the yesteryear actor has been a source of inspiration for her, Kareena heaped praise over her Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham co-star.

“I want a career like Zohra Sehgal. She was the most beautiful and inspiring lady. At the age of 80, I want to be in front of camera” Kareena shared, reported IANS. Zohra played character roles with aplomb in a career spanning a little over seven decades. Mastering the art of both theatre and cinema, she worked in a variety of films.

Kareena said that despite being married for three years, she has not turned her back on Bollywood and will continue to star in films. “I am still working in films after marriage and I have no qualms of doing item songs. For this, I would like to give all credit to my husband, Saif. If he hadn’t given me the permission, then it wasn’t possible for me to do anything,” said the Jab We Met actor. On the work front, she will next be seen romancing Arjun Kapoor in R Balki’s Ki & Ka, releasing on April 1.

While Kareena will be sharing the screen space with for the first time, she is happy to be paired opposite him. At a press conference held in Delhi, she told reporters that the two make one of the best pairs, reported Indian Express. “I think Arjun and I make one of the best pairs. I hope we have a different kind of film again where we can work together again.”

However, according to Kareena, Saif has not watched the film yet but is already impressed with the concept. “Saif hasn’t seen the film yet, but he is very impressed with the idea behind the film and he is very supportive. Whenever I talk to him, the first thing he says is ‘I think this movie is going to be something else,’” she added. “So it is very rare to have such a supporting husband who is so excited about my project as though it is his film.”
