Thin attendance at offices
Employees from Rawalpindi could not reach due to the suspension of metro and public transport
ISLAMABAD:
Following the chehlum of Mumtaz Qadri on Sunday, the Red Zone of the capital was locked down to avoid any attempt to enter the sensitive area, resulting in thin attendance in public and private offices.
Those trying to enter the Red Zone had to contend with long queues and blockades on the roads. The attendance was less than usual at government offices, a security official at a check point said.
Employees from Rawalpindi could not reach due to the suspension of metro and public transport.
