Under attack: Violence against media persons condemned
They also condemned the violence against journalists at the Karachi Press Club the other day by unidentified persons

National Press Club (NPC) President Shakeel Anjum on Monday expressed concern over manhandling and harassment of journalists by protesters belonging to various religious groups in the twin cities and urged the authorities to ensure safety of the media persons.
He said that journalist community had no political or sectarian bias and they should be allowed to cover issues on merit.

In a statement issued by the NPC, Anjum along with members of the governing body of the club condemned violence against journalists and camera persons during the coverage of the pro-Mumtaz Qadri protesters.
They also condemned the violence against journalists at the Karachi Press Club the other day by unidentified persons.
He also urged leader of religio-political parties to make sure their workers do not violate the law.
He said that journalist community had no political or sectarian bias and they should be allowed to cover issues on merit.
